Ooh yeah!!!

Oh yeah! I have a blog.
You would think I had forgotten based on how much I HAVEN'T done...

There has been a lot going on around here.

- We had our first prenatal appointment. Our doctor said I'm healthy and okay'd me for starting prenatal yoga and swim classes. I also LOVE our doctor. He is very supportive of a natural birth.
- The bro-in-law was up here for a while and we explored fern canyon (that gets a whole post in itself). Here's a teaser...

{Fern Canyon. That's the BIL}

- We made another trip down to Southern California. My sister was running in a much bigger community queen pageant (16 or so contestants). She didn't win and she was relieved and happy. BUT she did win the Miss Enterprise award for raising the most money for Saddle Up Ranch (a therapeutic non profit). The town we are from only has about 1500 people and the other communities have 10,000 - 158,000+. This is one reason I love Leona Valley!

{Olivia and I}

- We rearranged the guest/craft room to now include my brother's office (incase you're unaware my hubby and I, and my bro and his wife all live together). The bro's office is now empty so we can create June Bug's space!
- We FINALLY made more laundry soap. Yay for cheap and good cleaning laundry soap!
- Mike and I have both been working lots.
- I started a new bible study with my instavotion group. I love this group of women and I love that it's an online community who love each other! Most of us have NEVER met.
- I have been sick. This is what I have been carrying around the house with me...

{Water, tissues, coconut oil [for applying essential oils], Lemon/Thieves/Peppermint Essential Oils [they have helped so much with my cold], chap stick [eos], cough drops, a yummy candle.}

I have some stuff I'm itching to blog about I figure if I list it, I'll be more accountable.

1) Show you Fern Canyon. OMG. Gorgeous.
2) I'm making a duvet cover out of sheets I got at Target.
3) I'm making curtains for our living room. It needs some color.
4) We find out (hopefully) June Bug's gender Friday. EEEEEEE.
5) Mike and I are venturing up the coast of Oregon for a little get away, just us. It's wonderful to go see family. We just always feel like we haven't connected at all when we go. This is probably our last little get away, just us, before June Bug comes.

What has been going on in your life?
Can you believe that January is GONE?
I'm going to be 26 in just over a week. Whoa.

My, oh my, has time gone by.

Wow. Can you believe it's been about 1 month since my last post. That is bad. Life is crazy (whose isn't). So, you probably just won't see me around much. I'll post when I can. I love my little blog and being to able to share with you all this way.

Anyway, here are 10 fun things from the last month.

1) I got to go visit Mike for a whole week! We had such a fun time and just enjoyed each other. My goal was to be up there for my birthday and I was there for that and Valentine's day! Oh yeah!

2) My friend Bethany and I have been able to reconnect and spend time together. I really enjoy our time watching movies and doing our nails. Fun!

3) I got to choose the crowns for the upcoming pageant. There were so many fun SPARKLES for look at! I love bling.

4) The sista (in-law) and I got to hang out for a good amount of time. That time was precious and needed and I really enjoyed it. Plus, we went to downtown L.A. and she got my hooked on Gossip Girl and I had to finish it.

5) A childhood friend, who was a bridesmaid in my wedding, came down for the Honky Tonk Stomp and Grub fundraiser for the queens. I love the time I get to spend with her, I just wish it could've been more. Heart felt talks are the best.

6) My brother and his girl got engaged!!!! We are so excited!!! We love Kristyn and are excited to officially welcome her to the family. :)

7) Olivia, my sister, is just awesome. She is silly and so smart. I enjoy spending time with her.

8) Leona Valley Community Church has a wonderful women's bible study group. Some of the women in the group even changed my diapers in the nursery when I was a baby. It's awesome that I still get to learn from and listen to these great women.

9) The weather has been gorgeous. One part of me says "Snow day in KC? I want to be there!" and then the other part says "Wow! 75 degrees is gorgeous!!". I don't know what I want. :P

10) Skype dates and phone calls with my hubby. I miss that man but I'm enjoying the benefits of LDRs (long distance relationships). Believe it or not, there are a few. ;)

Love you all! I hope you're having a great weekend.

California

Friends... a LOT has gone down in the last 5 days.

1) I was "let go" from work. I was super upset (and I'm still a little confused..).
I loved working there and had no idea it was coming.

2) I have an awesome husband, family and crew of friends. They are all so encouraging.
 I can't tell you how blessed and humbled I feel with the amount of
emails, texts, comments and phone calls I received.
You all ROCK.

3) Mike and I realized neither of us have committed jobs here. We don't have a house. Our rent is set up in such a way that we can break our lease with minimal financial penalty (we did that should have to move this year). We have been thinking, discussing and praying about the distance between us and our families for a while. There are more Paramedic jobs open in California than there are here (I know, I was shocked too).

4) Pray pray pray pray, think, talk, repeat.

5) Decision to move is in place.
Mike and I will be moving back to Cali on the 19th or 20th.

We are feeling the push and we're taking the step!

I know this is all written in a whirlwind. But man, this life itself is a whirlwind. Enjoy it!
