2 years

May 22nd, 2010

That's when Mike and I got married. This past Tuesday was our 2 year wedding anniversary! Where has the time gone?

This year, we decided to be super low key. We went to garage sales and Chinese food on Saturday (and found a lamp store). On Sunday, we went to the Brass Armadillo. It's a HUGE antique store out here. We had fun goofing around. On the actual date, we went to Sweet Tomatoes. So romantic, right?

It's important to spend time doing things you love together, especially when you're celebrating your relationship.

Maybe next year we'll do some fancy pants dinner. But our celebration this year, was perfect.

Off looking at antiques.

High Five for Friday

I am happily welcoming Friday.

Every Friday (except last week... sorry) I link up with Lauren at From My Grey Desk.
It is meant to be a reflection on the "highs" of your week and to help you focus on the good things, big or small, when there can be so many bad things.

Here we go...

ONE. God's perfect timing.
Last Friday, February 10th, was my birthday. It was also the day I was offered a postion with f'real and I accepted that postion. God's timing is perfect and never ceases to amaze me. I'm SO excited to start with f'real on March 1st.

TWO. Friends.
On Saturday, we had a birthday party full of taco's, games,
great people, the really tall and amazing chocolate cake from Costco and milk.
I LOVE that cake. It's my favorite. Oh, and I love my friends too. ;)

THREE. The Hunger Games Trilogy.

Found here

This is an intense trilogy. I'm 24 and I loved it but also recognize it's intense. I think some 13 year olds could handle and other need to wait. I will say this. I'm so glad it ended the way it did! I wasn't sure how I wanted it to end and then when it did, I knew it was the only right way to end it.

FOUR. Chiropractors.
{This was the cheesiest and creepiest picture I could find...}
If you didn't catch it on Facebook, I got rearended pretty hard two Wednesday's ago (2/1/12). With the job change comes a much better health insurance set up for me. Yay!

FIVE. Being Spoiled.
{This is not the case but it's funny}
My hubby spoiled me real good from my brithday until, well, he's still kinda doing it. I'm a blessed girl. Also, I'm taking advantage of all the time I get to spend with him. The next month won't be that way so much.

High Five for Friday

It's that time again!

High Five for Friday. I'm linking up with Lauren at from my grey desk.
This is a time to simply recognize small and big things that happened through out the week.

ONE. Professional opportunity.

{via}
The hubby is nearing the end of Paramedic school. This means, he has started to look at jobs everywhere. He applied for in Albuquerque. It's exciting and a little nerve racking to not really know where your life will be in 2.5 months. We could be here for a lot longer or we could be be moving. Weird.

TWO. A new phone!!!!

{via}
I was with out phone from 1/21-ish until yesterday afternoon. It was a good break. However, it always seems to happen when people actually have to contact you. Anyway, thank you to the wonderful Verizon lady who saved me from dispair helped me! I was in and out of the store in 5 minutes with a new phone on the way and 3x as much data as well as some other features for literally 1 cent more than we were already paying. SA-weet!

THREE. Time.

{via}
It was fantastic to finally be able to meet up with Hannah and her husband! The hubby and I enjoy them so much. I look forward to a continually growing friendship with that lady! Time to spend with other friends doing things like crafts or thrifting is always a bonus!

FOUR. Skype.

{via}

Skyping is a wonderful tool to use especially if your loved ones are far, far away. I'm thankful for technology and that a friend and I can just pop in and SEE each other's faces!

FIVE. Chick-Fil-A.

Quick and delicious breakfast? Yes, please.

Be sure to check out the link party!
